Visit from the Sports Minister

We were honoured to welcome the Sports Minister to EBCSA to see first-hand the impact that investment in community sport is having across our area.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase our facilities, meet volu

nteers, players and community partners, and discuss the vital role that grassroots sport plays in improving physical health, mental wellbeing and community engagement.

During the visit, we highlighted how the new 3G pitch is already providing year-round opportunities for football, rugby league and wider community use, supporting thousands of participants every week. We also shared our vision for the future, including plans for a new Community Hub that will further expand opportunities for sport, education, health and wellbeing.

The visit was a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate what can be achieved when clubs, volunteers, funders and the community work together towards a shared goal.
