After years of planning, fundraising and hard work, our new 3G pitch became a reality in 2025.
This timelapse captures the transformation of the site from the first stages of construction through to the installation of the playing surface and the completion of the facility.
The project was made possible through the support of the Football Foundation, our partners, funders, volunteers and the wider community, all working together to create a facility that will benefit local sport for generations to come.
Today, the pitch provides a modern, all-weather facility for football, rugby league and community use, helping thousands of participants each year to stay active, develop their skills and enjoy sport in a safe and inclusive environment.
We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved and would like to thank everyone who played a part in making it happen.
